LOU MANDARINI Lou Mandarini represents clients in various aspects of labor and employment law, as well as in various other aspects of the firm’s practice areas. In the labor field, Lou is an attorney to unions in the utilities, manufacturing, service and the federal sectors. His labor representation entails work before the National Labor Relations Board, the Massachusetts Division of Labor Relations, in arbitrations in contract negotiations with numerous employers. Lou also regularly serves individual clients in many aspects of employment law, including unemployment appeals hearings, covenants not to compete, severance agreements, and discrimination proceedings before both the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission. In addition to the labor and employment work, Lou also represents clients in the firm’s personal injury practice in trials and alternative dispute resolution. Prior to law school, Lou worked for several years at the Massachusetts AFL-CIO in communications, as a regional planner with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and as a reporter for various publications.
